Ambient mix I did for THF Radio at Tempelhofer Feld, a part of the Tempelhof Airport in Berlin. It was a full circle moment to play Ambient music in an abandoned airport waiting for a flight that would never come. 

Featuring my vinyl record collection with artists that you might not expect and might expect. Nala Sinephro, Jon Hopkins, Susumu Yokota, Floating Points, Akua Naru, Carlos Niño & Photay, Julianna Barkwick, Sigur Rós, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, Tim Hecker, Chelsea Wolfe & Russian Circles, Cloudkicker, Meshuggah (yes!) and some others.

The Alchemy of Silence blends ambient pop, cinematic post-rock, and poetic lyricism to explore the journey from sound to stillness—from the creation of meaning to its transcendence. Inspired by the sonic landscapes of Sigur Rós and Sleeping At Last, the track unfolds through warm piano, ambient electric guitar swells, and delicate synth textures.

Male vocals emerge from a primordial hush, narrating the dissolution of identity and noise. Female vocals later join, embodying rebirth and return. The piece climaxes in layered harmonies before dissolving back into tranquil quietude—a musical reflection of what remains when meaning fades: the hush of what could have been.

For fans of Sleeping At Last, Sigur Rós, London Grammar, and atmospheric singer-songwriter ballads.

Some of the best accounts on here have really long bios (I actually appreciate this), and I don't want to be confused with a bot account. If you are a human, I am probably listening to your music (I've definitely heard some AI, you know the sound) but Soundcloud is currently the only place I can hear real unmixed underground shoegaze, wild genre experiments, the weirdest rap flows, and piano ballads all in one sitting. My wife Martine only likes mastered music (she sings on 'God Given' and 'Sun' on this page) but I will sit here and listen through everything because some labels can't/won't and I actually enjoy the process of finding gold in the form of a passionate musician who can only afford to upkeep a Soundcloud account. If no one has heard you yet, keep creating! We still don't know you, but we are listening! Ultimately, my goal is to help computer musicians understand that while playing an instrument is an amazing skill to harness, studio-quality recordings can be made anywhere and at anytime (and with any instrument).
