'Oslo based DJ / producer Simon Field returns with ‘Need No Music’, lifted from the upcoming album of the same name released 25th August through his own label Basement Records.  

A catchy and expressive slice of immersive, peak time electronica, 'Need No Music' is an impressive blend of bass laden, tactile and textural tech house hybrid sounds. 

He says: “This track has been one of my secret club-weapon for the last few months. The spoken "We don't need no music" gives immediate club reactions before hitting them with this funky tech house beat that really shakes the floor.”  

Simon Field has had 150m+ streams and synced his music to high-profile TV shows such as Californication & Ugly Betty. Shared stages with Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez and played an array of high profiled venues from Ministry of Sound, Mambo Ibiza, Eden to bigger festivals like In It Together and Escape. His tracks are supported by an impressive array of DJs from David Guetta, Frequencies to Majestic.  '
