This is the first version I recorded of this song, on the day I wrote it.
It's  gentler than the final version, and has a sound collage of voices instead of a first verse. It's a song about someone losing themselves to obsessive anger. It's a sad song- someone doesn't notice the good things around them in their life because they've been seduced by simplistic cultish thinking. It's definitely a response to lots going on today with 'culture wars' but it could be about a lot of different things- perhaps political or religious extremes, or 'manosphere' nonsense. It's about how those things might affect an individual

I am an artist, writer and musician from Hastings, UK.  I make slightly wonky acoustic folk-pop, often with unusual guitar tunings, along with instrumentals that mix acoustic and electronic textures. 

Musically my current obsession is Judee Sill.
But it always comes back to the music of my childhood- The Cocteau Twins, The Waterboys, ABBA, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush.

Raised in New Mexico on an extinct volcano. Surrounded by the beauty of the desert southwest, Diné culture all around, Jason Daniello forged his musical roots through his parents’ record collection and the radio, then through cassette tapes exchanged with friends, ranging from Ozzy to The Beastie Boys & Run DMC, to Willie and Waylon.  New Order to Joni Mitchell. All genres were (and still are) explored and appreciated. He’s always been told to pick a lane, but I don’t think it’s possible with Jason. From acoustic to psychedelic Americana to electronic remixes of contemporary artists, to heavy 70’s rock anthems, Jason covers any and all musical territory that inspires him.

A songwriter and novice harmonica player who is vocally challenged rides coat tails of musician friend.  The recent posting of 42 songs are raw vocal tracks from a mere 3 hours of recording studio time (given to me as a Christmas gift).   
     These are great songs that are best heard from the original artist.  Check them out.  I love those "Hobo Tunes" and feel compelled to croak Croce.  I'll tell you, I had a blast in a real recording studio.  Thank You Andrew and Mockingbird Music Studio.

What's the track I like best?  While Vocal Destruction is fun, and I'm most proud of writing Whiskey with Wade, I'd say Diablo Wind.  It moves me.  I wrote it but left the rest to the professionals.  Ah, and that Piano.

I'm playing guittar last 30 years as a public player & singer. I call myself el-Mariachi and think of me that way :) to make people happy when we are singing together with open air and fire in the night. I'm plaing ballads and shanties. The first music record is about songs I love to play and sing "My covers". Second will be with shanties. 

Hi, I started out singing in the 60's. I played in several groups, made a few records. Never went fully pro just played youth clubs, pubs, and socials. 

I play a little guitar and piano just mainly chords and I write a few songs. I purchased a Tyros work station keyboard about 14 years ago and started recording many songs mainly covers. Hope you enjoy listening to some of them.
