Statement about life in America (re-release)

While my family and I were walking in the woods, one day, we saw a broken old wooden ladder leaning against a tree. It seemed to have no purpose, at all. It made me think about the state of the American economy and capitalism in general.

I was already working on another backing track. Ordinarily, I write in 120BPM, which is the default for my DAW. For this one, I decided to slow it down. The lyrics started flowing, and we ended up with this track.

I'm an eclectic, amateur singer-songwriter, who just throws things together for fun. It should be apparent that I don't use that AI junk, because it's more fun to actually write. I'm working on ditching AI cover art, as well. This was all sequenced (and sometimes actually played), by hand. The lyrics are also hand-written (no AI).

Yes, you're hearing actual, human-created, raw songs, mixed as well as I'm able. I do, however, use auto-strumming vsts, drum machines, and quantization (on anything that isn't a live recording).

I do not perform live. I do not have any aspirations of ever being able to play live.
