I'm a pro photographer, I build experimental music instruments because the clouds asked me to. There are so many clouds passing above Etna. In these unpretentious accidental tracks I play everything self-taught.

Composer. Remixer. Producer. Singer. It took much time, hopefully not too much until these days when I made real, what I always dreamed of. I discovered my voice and had the courage to use it, either by reading and singing. My decision has been made: I will publish own songs here. My first own composition incl. lyrics is "Weissblaue Gefühle", sung in German. Next came "Bel Étage" a dancetrack being inspired by the lockdown and the remote contact to nature. The 3rd song "A Water Symphony" also composed and produced by me, sung by VOICEPROOF, more information in the songinfo. "Departure" was a recorded live by playing around with some Filters and turning Knobs.....

Who / What is James Street Station?

James Street Station was founded in the summer of 2005 by E.J. James. Originally intended to be only a website/domain where E.J. published his home recordings and news about his other entertainment industry endeavors, it has evolved from time to time to encompass more, and be more.
It has been a solo endeavor, a full band, a production company, and even a recording studio.

It's most recent incarnation was that of a full band which included several very high caliber, very talented musicians. Details on that can be found in the Bio pages on the website ( http://www.JamesStStation.com ).

For now JSS is back to a solo endeavor with the website simply providing a publishing medium for E.J.'s solo home studio recordings and jam sessions with friends.

What will it be next? Who knows, but JSS will remain on the web and active.
