This mix sat in the vault for too long. I made it in 2024 while juggling the chaos of corporate burnout and my perfectionist spiral.

I was lucky enough to open for Snails and Level Up with this set, and this is version two of what I played. It’s heavy, it’s emotional, and it’s finally seeing the light.

Roadblocks tried to stop me. Self-doubt tried to silence me.

But I came, I saw, I conquered.

ON THE HUNT is an NYC-based, SF-born DJ/ producer creating heavy beats in the bass trap music scene. Her tremendously successful track "NOTHIN' TO IT" with rapper Chandler has gained over six million streams on Spotify as well as being featured on Billboard × Tiktok's Top 50 and Viral 50, IG's Top 5 Audios, Spotify's Internet People, and more. Her unmistakably hard sound is quickly gaining notoriety, with tracks featured on Spotify's Nasty Bits and Fresh Finds: Hip Hop playlists and the Trap Woofer Youtube channel.

The rising act has caught the eye of many across the industry with her uniquely bass-boosted, gripping productions. She has shared the stage with well-known producers like Doctor P, Eliminate, QUIX, Blunts & Blondes, Samplifire, and Vampa, and performed at iconic venues such as The Brooklyn Monarch, 1015 Folsom, and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. WLS (pronounced willis), is a 28-year-old music producer, DJ, and songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. WLS started producing music as a hobby in 2016, and it became a serious creative pursuit during the pandemic — a turning point that sparked years of focused music production and growth.

Most recently, he’s been exploring songwriting in collaboration with his sister, a vocalist, and the two are currently working on a debut album. Driven by a love for the shared experience of music and that unmatched moment when a crowd connects with a track, WLS is gearing up to share what he's been building.
