@soft-limits, a Prague-based event and music collective welcomes 9 artists from around Europe for the first label release, "Soft Limits VA vol. 1". While maintaining a consistent message of progressive and groovy, each artist has cut out their spot amongst the compilation.

From deep and warp-y to powerful and dance-y, the collection of tracks tells a story of the eclectic taste of Soft Limits. While relying on a home base of traditional trance and house elements, further reaches into more obscure genres tend to leak into each production.

Toing & Froing EP is the second release from Soft Limits, highlighting the label's more playful side. Fréquence Polaire delivers his take on progressive trance with a sound that’s iconic and irresistibly effective.

Tracks like "I Really Can't Say, But Yes" and "Midnight Tango" are packed with uplifting energy, perfect for raising the heart rate in any setting. Meanwhile, "Echoes of Syracuse" and "Gökotta" explore darker, dreamier tones, adding depth while staying true to the EP’s overall feeling. Fréquence Polaire, a name inspired by the magnetic pull of opposites, is the alias of a French-born, Prague-based DJ and producer. Influenced by indie dance, progressive house, and trance, he creates a sound that is both versatile and unique. While his productions shine on their own, it’s his live sets that are truly gems in the rough, combining energy and artistry in a way that leaves a lasting impact.
