I recorded my "Cover Girl" CD in 2014 to travel to England and perform a show. My only HIT in the Northern Soul genre is "WHAT" & I needed at least 10 songs to sing, so I included this one. "Tainted Love." This is the first song on that album.

Wave Hello Say Goodbye Soft Cell Cover

Before there was Nightmare on Elm Street, before there was Inception, there was Dreamscape!  This under-the-radar sci-fi/action/thriller/romance from 1984 was a heady mix of genres, and while it was the first notable film to feature a storyline about people entering the dreams of others to help or harm, it has gone largely unnoticed in the last 40 years.  But it beat Freddy and Christopher Nolan to the punch, which makes it a noteworthy thing to discuss.  Starring Dennis Quaid, Kate Capshaw, Max Von Sydow, Christopher Plummer and an analog stop-motion evil Snake Man with legs and arms (don’t ask),  Dreamscape is an oddity that fell through the cracks. Let’s dust it off and see if Freud and Jung were right all along….

Lauren is a vocalist, songwriter and producer. Originally from New England, she moved to the Midwest in 2016 to pursue a degree in film and music. She first began her musical journey at a young age behind pen and paper where her love of writing and dance inspired her to create something that lifted off the page. When she is not producing for herself, Lauren works with indie bands and artists as a writer and vocal producer to help bring their musical ideas to life.
 As an avid song writer; Lauren writes music that evokes nostalgia, the complexities of love, and female empowerment. Her background in film and digital media has given Lauren the skills to help design brand kits for artists and small businesses, as well as film and edit content for social media, music videos and website design. Lauren is currently working to earn a Master's Degree from Berklee College of Music to grow my knowledge of production and music business.

Judy started singing at age 13, in Phoenix, Arizona, accompanied by her father on piano. All the classic 1940’s songs such as:  Misty, Fly Me to the Moon, Girl from Ipanema and Almost Like Being in Love. 
In 1968, she moved to California and recorded a 45 record - “What” with H. B. Barnum/producer. Later in the 70’s it became a massive hit in England on the Northern Soul scene (#23 out of the top 500.) With this recording, she changed her name to JUDY STREET. 
From California, Judy traveled across America singing with a show band. "Society." Then staying in Southern California continued to sing and play drums with her own bands for the next 20 years. Some of the most requested songs were from: The Carpenter’s, Anne Murray, Linda Ronstadt, Rickie Lee Jones, Bette Midler & Bonnie Raitt.
1991, moved to Tennessee and in 1997 found out that the song "WHAT" was a massive hit in England. She Performed her hit in Blackpool (2012) & Skegness & Preston (2014) to her fans and was able to experience “WHAT” a legend she truly was there. 
In Nashville, she was a soloist with the Christ Church Choir for many years and recorded “There Is A God.” Currently, she enjoys singing songs at Retirement Centers in Tennessee, through Music For Seniors.
