A setup of modified solar panels connected to a portable audio recorder is used to listen-in on the hidden sonic world of lights.  The piece involves the artist moving amidst a lit performance space in a sort of dance through which the exposure to various lights (including LED, fluorescent, incandescent, and halogen) gets conveyed into sound. 
The feeling is of stumbling across an enchanted forest of sounds which under normal circumstances are completely obscured by our natural perceptions. Through the senses and perceptions of the machine (modified solar panels) we listen into the machine (electromagnetic lights). This Sound Piece was made for the Reverb event at the Abbotsford Convent. Exhibited 25th to the 29th of June.
