Missed the call, lost the note,
Still forgot my winter coat.
Lunch was coffee, dinner’s late,
Clock won’t bend to what I wait.
Kids need rides, baby sitter's gone,
Still in meetings when dusk turns on.
Got a heart but left it home,
Making plans I’ll never own.
