As much as I enjoy the Sonic and Knuckles theme motifs, the Sonic 3 ones are really cool too, and they may even be my favorite of the two. Regardless, I wanted to make a theme for the what-if scenario  of there being a separate Super Sonic theme *and* a separate Hyper Sonic theme. The goal was to use S3 motifs with flavors of S&K scattered throughout, ultimately making for a less repetitive yet still exciting take on S3's "Super" theme, which is really just the Invincibility music. I may come back to explore what a Super Sonic theme would be (although this could work for both forms), but for now, please enjoy this piece I really enjoyed working through.

Here is the first of 2 tracks I made for the 48-hour Global GameJam. My team and I made a cute little puzzle platformer where you play as a wizard attempting to use his dark (bubble) magic to escape from a magical prison. For this jam, I challenged myself by only using the Sonic 3 & Knuckles sound font and no audio plugins other than very simple eq, reverb, and delay. Enjoy!

the battle ui (which can be found above) is heavily based off of Moonster's "Lord of the Hammer" and the song in general (particularly the first motif though it's more so just a heavily modified version of the main motif of the solar system song) is based off of "light lies" by frakture. 
this isn't really for an au but if it was it'd be for like idk "orangetale" or something (kinda like dashingtoadietale? similar concept with my different incarnations being the roles. Kingare1/the scratch account would be Asgore then)

I have always greatly liked music since I was little and what all can be communicated through it.
