Seguimos con nuestra saga particular de mixes con personas que hemos conocido en los últimos tiempos y de los cuales admiramos su trabajo y dedicación constante e insaciable a la búsqueda de música en cualquiera de sus vertientes y formatos; esta semana en Canela En Surco DJ Suavesito.

A DJ Suavesito lo conocimos por ser el socio-fundador y presentador junto a DJ Congas de uno de nuestros programas favoritos de los últimos años, "PLACAS TECTÓNICAS" emitido desde la capital del estado por nuestros también admirados colegas de Radio Relativa. Un programa que nació allá por Febrero del 2021 y que de vez en cuando se saca de la manga algún "especial" de sitios, escenas y artistas de los que también somos incondicionales; recomendamos especialmente los dedicados a los Palop y a las Antillas, así como al eterno Iván "Mamao" Conti. 

Por caprichos del destino tuvimos la fortuna de ponerle cara y voz a Suavesito en una incursión que el susodicho hizo hace ya más de un año por tierras gallegas y que nos pilló por aquellas mismas latitudes.. El encuentro fue más que mágico ya que además de conocernos y poder hablar de lo que más nos gusta que son los discos, sonaba de fondo un concierto muy familiar y tierno del gran Kamal Williams..Allí surgió la proposición a Suave de que se grabase algo para nosotros y que después de un tiempo de espera hizo cumplir lo prometido con estas 2 horas de Soukous, Funaná, Highlife, Boogie, que llevan ya un tiempo siendo la B.S.O. de todas nuestras mañanas en el coche..

Os dejamos con un pequeño saludo e introducción al mix que Suavesito nos ha mandado para compartir con todos: 

"Trás un largo camino de búsqueda y desarrollo aqui está mi mix para Canela En Surco, idea que surgió un año atrás cuando Breixo y un servidor nos conocimos en su A Coruña natal.
Dos horas de puro Suavesito Is A State Of Mind, sonidos del Caribe y África para adentrarse y disfrutar de un viaje musical repleto de grooves de la década de los 80 y prinicipios de los 90. Antillas Francesas, Congo, Brasil, Angola, Costa de Marfil, Mali, Ghana, Senegal, Benín... Todo en vinilo."

Onyema Augustine Elegbua, better known by his stage name Stackoflava a.k.a Stackz, is a Nigerian songwriter and recording artist. Stackoflava was formerly known as Stackz, he initially garnered attention with the release of his debut single “Chase” featuring Mz Kiss, in 2018.

On June 18, 2021, he released his debut EP, N.E.W (Now Everyone’s Watching) featuring Idowest, which pushed him to a bigger audience and reaching milestones.
Gradually penetrating through the music industry and gaining recognition, he describes his kind of music as Afro-Fusion, with songs such as The Notice, In The Morning featuring Chimy, Oroma and Work.

He says, "Every mood expressed in my music is relatable, either real life or fiction"...
