Voici ma première confiture de l'année 2025, et commençons par l'émergence du rap au début des années 1980 est un chapitre fascinant de l'histoire de la musique. En plus des grands artistes à succès de l'époque, presque tous signés chez Sugarhill Records, il y en avait beaucoup d'autres que j'aimerais vous présenter dans cette série. Aujourd'hui, je vous présente exclusivement des chansons entre 1980 et 1982.
Au début des années 1980, les artistes ont commencé à écrire et à interpréter leurs propres paroles, ce qui a conduit au développement du rap en tant que genre distinct. Le premier single de rap à obtenir un succès commercial majeur fut "Rapper's Delight" du Sugarhill Gang en 1979. Cela a ouvert les portes à de nombreux autres artistes et a conduit à une explosion de la musique rap dans les années 1980. Les thèmes des paroles vont de la fête et du plaisir au commentaire social et politique, faisant du rap une plate-forme d'expression d'expériences et d'opinions. Cette évolution a jeté les bases des divers styles et sous-genres que l'on retrouve dans le rap aujourd'hui.

His travels have taken him to stages at festivals and countries such as Switzerland, Beat-Herder Festival, Kala Festival (Albania), Convenanza (France), Evil Acid Barons Weekender, Campo Sancho,Festival No6 and Alfresco, among others. Regularly spinning in European cities such as Tirana, Ibiza, Vienna, and Berlin, he brings an eclectic blend of Acid House, Nu-Disco, House, Electro, and Breakbeat—basically, anything with that indefinable magic.


A master of the unexpected, Peza’s sets are known for his signature edits—breathing new life into forgotten gems or obscure oddities and seamlessly weaving them into the mix. blending music together that you wouldn't necessarily expect, but somehow managing to make it work.

Remixes and collaboration credits include artists such as Gorillaz, Damon Albarn, Joe Goddard, Baba Ali, Greg Wilson, Black Grape, The Duke Spirit, Liela Moss, Dicky Trisco, Mike Smith (Gorillaz/Blur), amongst many others.

Peza is also an integral part of Greg Wilson's 'Credit To The Edit' collective. DJ'ing alongside Greg, Derek Kaye and Henry Greenwood.
