Les "BRB" sont issus de la banlieue ouest de Paris. Collegues et amis travaillant dans le caoutchouc, ils forment en 2015, The Big Rubber Band. Ils rencontrent ensuite Major qui devient tres rapidement leur chanteur attitré.Apres un premier concert à La Basse Cour à Nanterre, en 2017, ils alternent entre concerts et compositions. Ils se font remarquer à la Clef puis au Forum de Vaureal. Avec un set de plus de 2H, ils multiplient les dates dans la banlieue parisienne

Major & The BRB-Crawl (Chris Brown/The BRB)

Led by vocalist Jerry Clavier (Tru-Thoughts, J-Felix, Laroye), the self-titled debut EP from the ‘Gyratory Allstars’ is an impressive 5-track offering from one of the UK’s finest new funk, soul and acid jazz collectives.

Fresh off-the-back of high-profile festival appearances this summer, the EP will be self-released by the band on 14th October. Showcasing Clavier’s warm, soulful vocals, he is accompanied by a melting-pot of seasoned musicians, providing a wide palette of classic and contemporary influences which is evident from their uplifting and positive live performances.

The EP closes with the Gyratorys’ unique version of Buffalo Springfield’s classic ‘For What It’s Worth’, and will be available to stream and buy via all of the usual places online.

2025 live shows are expected to be announced next year and the band are currently taking bookings.

Furphy Terwilliger - Zonked Out My Brain

Music production inspired by the music of the 80s. After years dedicated to recording, producing, mixing, and mastering music, I'm uploading my content to streaming platforms for everyone to enjoy, proving that when something is made with feeling, authentically, and from the heart, the music sounds better. I hope you like it!

L’histoire de Major and The BRB démarre à Bezons(95) en 2015. 
5 amis sortis d’une usine de caoutchouc de la banlieue Ouest de Paris, commencent à jouer  ensemble.  Après quelques répétitions le groupe  prend rapidement le nom de Big Rubber Band, il est à ce stade uniquement instrumental. 
Deux mois plus tard, arrive au chant Major, puis Julien au Saxophone, ce dernier venant d’une autre société mais travaillant dans le même univers. Le nom du groupe évolue en Major & The Big Rubber Band.
Une amitié forte se crée au sein de l’équipe ou les différences techniques se voient gommées au profit d’un travail de l’ensemble. Chacun travaillant à hauteur de son savoir faire.
En Mars 2017, le groupe présente sa première prestation scénique  à La Basse Cour de Nanterre, une première scène pour certains. A partir de cette date, le groupe compose, enregistre 2 démos en live au studio du conservatoire de Levallois et enchaine les concerts. 

En 2019, ils font 10 prestations scéniques dont un passage à La Clef à St Germain en Laye puis au Forum à Vauréal, se forgeant par la même occasion une bonne expérience de la scène.  Ils ont déjà changé 2 fois de bassiste. 
Ils vont en changer encore jusqu’à l’arrivée de Eric, qui dès son arrivée s’impose comme le chainon manquant. Line up et set list en place, ils reprennent la route des concerts en Janvier 2023 ;  Année durant laquelle ils feront 8 prestations et écriront plusieurs nouveaux morceaux. 
La machine est relancée.
