Patrice5 (@patrice55) and I now present track 8 in our collaborative concept album in progress, "Altitude". Patrice5 composed, mixed and recorded his part on 12 Octotber 2025 in MAGIX, and I composed, mixed and recorded my part, improvising on Akai MPK mini keyboard controller connected to Logic Pro, in the evenings of 21 and 22 November 2025, when I also combined our two parts, arranged, mixed and recorded this collaborative track in Logic Pro. Patrice5 then came up with the final mix, arrangement and recording on 23 November 2025 in MAGIX. We release it now on SoundCloud, in this late Sunday evening (in Europe) of 30 November 2025, and hope you'll enjoy it.

The artwork cover for our album "Altitude" (2025) and all tracks in it uses a photo shot by Alex M on 26 September 2025 cropped and annotated by Alex M in Mac OS Preview on 29 September 2025 - in coordination and agreement with Patrice5.

Konrad Ciesielski – muzyk, przede wszystkim kojarzony z perkusją oraz ciężkimi brzmieniami, jednak swoim solowym albumem pragnie wyjść poza dotychczasowe, definiujące go ramy. Od 1999 do 2022 roku był silnie związany z eksperymentalnym zespołem Blindead. Na przestrzeni lat tworzył także inne projekty muzyczne, takie jak rockowo-stonerowe Octopussy, alternatywno-popowe Tranquilizer czy nastrojowo-rockowy St. John. Od lat pełni rolę muzyka sesyjnego oraz nauczyciela gry na perkusji.

Jesienią 2025 roku ukaże się jego solowy album pt. „Koniec”, który wprowadza słuchaczy w klimaty muzyki filmowej z elementami elektroniki i jazzu. Na tym albumie Ciesielski ujawnia się jako kompozytor, aranżer i producent, tworząc unikalne elektroniczne brzmienia i łącząc je z grą na klawiszach, bębnach etnicznych oraz perkusji. Do każdego utworu zaprosił gości – solistów oraz wokalistów, którzy wzbogacili jego muzykę o dodatkowe emocje i barwy.

I have always admired music, of diverse styles. Like most of us, I have tried learning to play a few instruments at a basic level in my teenage. But it is only now, in the 21st century, that modern software allows anyone to fool around being the composer, the designer of a whole composition, simpler or more complex, organising together the parts of the various instruments - and to hear the results of this experimentation or inspiration instantly! That is how I have recently begun enjoying the distraction of attempts at composing during my leisure, discovering an amazing dimension of life, and art, perhaps the most intangible, heightening and hypnotising one, and the closest to the soul...
