Ash Roy’s career spanning two decades has made him one of the most progressive and revered artists. His style moves through minimal and techno with a pinch of psychedelia, tide up elegantly with percussions. 

He is active in Germany and India’s Techno underground scene and has performed unique hybrid sets in Europe, Australia, the USA, and Asia. His deep affection for minimal techno can be heard in releases for labels like Dark Face Recordings, Trapez, Gain Records, Frequenza, Phobos, Ballroom Records, Jannowitz, Creepy Fingers, Evil Flow, Hydrozoa, Bully Beatz, and his very own Soupherb Records to name a few. He has been recognized for his achievements and has been MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' for the year 2014, VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ’, ‘Producer of the Year’ at MyFav awards 2015 and 2016. Features in Mixmag, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag NL, Faze Mag, Euphoric Mag validates his steadfast approach to his work. 

He made his debut at Netherland’s Awakenings in 2017 and was invited again the following year. 2019 was his debut at Esoteric Festival Australia which initiated a 6 gig Australian tour. In 2021 he played on the iconic stage Turmbühne at Fusion Festival's Plan:et C, and also made his debut at Wurzel Festival, Germany. 

Ash's 2022 summer takes him to Hai In Den Mai Festival, Germany, Fusion Festival, Germany, Master of Puppets, Czech Republic, Château Perché, France, Wurzel Festival, Germany, Tropen Tango Festival, Germany, Bucht der Träumer, Germany, Freirausch Festival, Germany, Zouav'Fest, France to name a few. 

Love for interesting sounds and creating a platform for forward-thinking and experimental music producers Ash Roy Launched Souperherb Records in 2013 which is now India’s top minimal techno imprint with over 130 releases from artists from around the world.

DCMB Records is a crew and label that was born out of a desire to give back to the vibrant electronic music scene in Berlin. Co-founders Filipe Dionysos Santana and Nuno Roque, both Portuguese-born residents of Berlin, began by hosting events at iconic venues like Berlin Ballhaus, where they combined live visual arts with music to create an immersive experience for attendees. The name DCMB is a nod to the four cities that have played a significant role in the development of electronic music and rave culture.
Since its inception, the crew has grown to become a respected name on the scene, with a roster of exciting young artists, a label and a regular event schedule that has taken them to venues like Anomalie, Ritter Butzke, Remise, Birgit, Bulbul, Beate Uwe, Chalet ,Burg Schnabel and many others. They are hosting two event series "Find Your Roots" and “ALT_F4”, showcasing their artists and providing the best techno music experience for the attendees.
With sounds ranging from high-speed techno and groovy hypnotic beats to progressive house and downtempo, DCMB Records serves up a diverse array of electronic music for all tastes. The crew's goal is to create memorable moments on the dance floor and to continue to evolve and grow as they take little big steps towards a brighter future.

Bringing together genres like Techno, Minimal, and their sub genres is what has led to Soupherb collaborations taking artists across the globe and hosting tours both within Asia and Europe.
