I did this one for FORM's "Any%: Level 2" earlier this year, took a bit of time to finish it properly but here it is !

My idea was to write a song that would work as the opening of a space-opera anime about illegal races in space or something. Imagine REDLINE or initial D in space with races through entier star systems.

"Och… Ein Weltraummusical" – Die Demos zum intergalaktischen Musical

Willkommen auf Och, dem unauffälligsten Mond der Galaxis – direkt neben dem auffällig benannten Planeten Uhlalah. Hier soll Priscilla eigentlich den selbstdarstellerischen Alwis heiraten. Dumm nur, dass keiner von beiden so richtig Lust drauf hat. Doch als Alwis plötzlich entführt wird, begibt sich Priscilla – trotz allem fest entschlossen – auf eine schräge Rettungsmission durch den Kosmos. Liebe? Vielleicht. Drama? Auf jeden Fall. Explosionen? Nicht ausgeschlossen.

Der Soundtrack bietet alles, was ein Weltraummusical braucht: große Popsongs, rockige Turbulenzen, klassische Anklänge und das eine oder andere musikalische Augenzwinkern in Richtung berühmter Broadway-Größen und Sinfoniegiganten. Manche Zitate sind so gut versteckt, sie sind nur mit einem großen Teleskop zu finden, andere sind offensichtlich wie ein magehrianischer Bandscheiben-Wurm.

Dies ist keine Live-Aufnahme und auch kein Cast-Album – es handelt sich um Studio-Demos.

WISHMASTER
Formé en 2007, ce groupe de metal symphonique et progressif se distingue par son travail de mise en scène sonore: chaque morceau se veut le chapitre d'une épopée inspirée de mythologies, de légendes ou de contes fantastiques.

ANITA FINNEGAN
Elle incarne le versant brut et émotionnel de Wishmaster. Sa voix, tour à tour puissante et vulnérable, est capable de transmettre l'urgence d'une bataille ou la détresse d'un personnage en quête de rédemption.
Parallèlement à ses activités avec Wishmaster, Anita développe une carrière solo où elle explore une facette plus intimiste et personnelle de son univers musical, mêlant folk, pop, rock, metal ou dark ambient.

CASSANDRE (DESROSIERS)
Soprano accomplie, elle apporte à Wishmaster une dimension éthérée et aérienne. Sa maîtrise des registres élevés crée des harmonies lumineuses en contraste avec les riffs métalliques, renforçant l'impact dramatique et la profondeur narrative des compositions.
Sous le nom de scène CASSANDRE, elle se lance à son tour en solo: son premier single est annoncé pour très bientôt, promettant de prolonger l'esthétique sombre et poétique qu'on lui connaît au sein du groupe.
