On my recent trip to Estonia I had to return home via Copenhagen, but because the first flight was late leaving I missed the Dublin flight.  So they got me on another flight to Munich so I could pick up the Dublin flight, this Munich flight was even more late in leaving so when I got into Munich the Dublin flight was gone, I ended up staying overnight.  Next day I had to wait till the later afternoon for my flight home via Frankfurt, while waiting I passed some time recording these Sparrows chirping loudly at each other while the wind almost howled in the huge canopy above me.  This is a short version of a much longer recording (I usually upload only the full length versions).  Recording 4452.  Made with the Tascam Dr100-Mk3 and its own inbuilt mics.

A cabinetmaker by trade.  I have been recording birds for over 42 years.  Even as a seven year old I loved to hear the sound of birds. 
I believe that birdsong is a perfect reflection of the natural environment and yet a part of the experience of the environment.
