Visual Effects Supervisor Eric Barba & FX Designer Alec Gillis were kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about their work on Fede Alvarez's entry in the long-running and beloved franchise, which you can listen to below. Interview With "Alien: Romulus" Visual Effects Supervisor Eric Barba & FX Designer Alec Gillis

The Stars 🌟 an Amusement Park ride through a black hole put to music. Starts in an amusement park where boarding is quick and blast off even quicker. Into space we go for an adventure ride in music. It's a genre mix of space music, melodic dubstep, music of the stars, chillstep and a final big drop complete with a universal, simple melody.

Simple melodies, simple chords, but a complex arrangement (like the stars!).

I released a song "The Fighter" on the shortest day of the year, sowhy not release my song "The Stars" on the Darkest Day of the year. I thought it would be perfect to release "The Stars" during the wintersolstice, when the earth's axis is tilted at its furthest point from the sun. For us in the northern hemisphere, the sun is at its lowestpoint in the sky. It's also the shortest day of the year – and the longest night.

NO Artificial Intelligence was used in the creation of my music and, as far as I'm concerned, AI will never enter "MY" music or I can'tcall my music "mine." (that's pretty much how it works ,too).
