Techno - SetteeFaction - 15 - 06 - 24

LabMix025 recorded sat.08-06-24 @ Default-Lab home studio. 
A compilation of various tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. Let's get wild... On this session I've cranked up the tempo to a sturdy 137 Bpm. How to describe this set to do it right? More uptempo, driven and repetitive, robust, sweaty techno perfectly suitable for the peak of the night till the break of dawn! 
A verry cool techno sound that will transport you to this 'Land of Nowhere'
I had a lot of fun on the mixing part of this set, hope you enjoy it just as much.
Also on the mixing part still deepening out the possibilities on the A&H Xone DB4 which obviously still has some secrets hidden inside and fine tuning/organizing my Serato catalog to a more logic extend. 
O yeah, and I tested my new headphones on this recording, lovin the HD25 (cheers to Sennheiser)

Where to begin with this one? Don't say that we aren't good to you...

Surgeon & Speedy J need no introduction. However, you might not have heard of their recent collaborative project called Multiples which they are using to work together on live improvised jams. It's a chance for them to embrace the diy aesthetic once more, bouncing ideas off one another and recording the results.

The first record from the pair is called 'Two Hours Or Something'. An aptly titled release which lends a nod to the chaos and approach in the studio.

We received this mix not long off the back of being sent the record and it doesn't disappoint. It weaves and wanders between elements of IDM before emerging into the realms of Techno. The proper stuff - no hype, no pop edits. Pure Techno as it was meant to be.

There's some serious business going on here, a blend of heavy, hypnotic, sweaty repetitive techno,  perfectly suitable for the peak of the night till the break of dawn! 
A continuously increasing vibin' sound that exceeds the point of no return, so be aware ...  'Meltdown Initiated'
Also luvin' my setup, on the mixing part still deepening out the possibilities on the A&H Xone DB4, new headphones seems to do it's part and I'm still fine tuning/organizing my Serato catalog to a more logic extend. A compilation of various tracks by some of my favorite various artist and labels. Full thrust ahead... A peaktime session, launching you on a digital highway in a landscape of electronic components, Light-Emitting Diodes and soldered pathways.
Experiencing scattering rhythmics, static soundwaves, high frequency sparks, glimmering particles and fully charged beats. So, energy level is on max, the gauges are set on lightspeed! Let’s go!
My advice: strap on, don’t look back and just keep going… next exit in 90 minutes!
