La historia de esta canción nació en mi viaje a vancouver, desde que me desperté tenía la sensación de que un susurro me indicaba que tenía que ir a meditar al cementerio; después de mi trabajo, que era hasta north vancouver (para lo que yo vivía hasta el sur y hacía 2 horas de traslado), busqué un cemenerio y para mi sorpresa tenía uno a 20 minutos de mi casa. Decidí ir ahí. Al entrar, me encontré con un árbol gigante que a sus pies parecía como un asiento hecho con sus raíces. Sentí que él me estaba esperando, y tal vez yo a él. Me senté en él, me quité las botas de trabajo, los calcetines, medité, me enraicé, y como tributo decidí tomarle un video de la copa hasta sus pies (que realmente sería de sus pies hacia su cabeza). Viendo el video recordé que hace meses había hecho una grabación de una improvisación en la guitarra, supuse que para alguna razón lo grabé y estaba ahí disponible el archivo. Junté tanto el audio del video como la canción grabada, las edité de manera que se distorsionara y diera un poco la sensación de ensueño. El resultado fue Royal Oak, Palace of No Return, I hope my branches go south, too...

Petur aka Azgeir buyed his first CDJ´s with a friend when he was 14 years old.Back then they played eurodisco and eurotrance like Antiloop, Earthbound & such at schoolparties and discosthat soon eveolved to Yahel, etc and then to psytrance. He attended his first outdoor psytrance party in the Swedish forest 2002 (Trolltyg) that had a big impact on him.After that summer he attended all the Open Air parties he could. In 2006 he organized his first Open Air (Aura Open Air)wich also was his first contact with Dennis Tapper aka HuxFlux. Since then he has organized numerous parties and festivalswith different projects.Azgeir plays various types of psychedelic electronic music from deeper day music to faster and night tunes.He has played all over at the parties and festivals in Sweden and shared stages with some of the biggest names.Except Sweden he´s also played in Croatia, Schweiz, Barcelona, Chile, Norway & Denmark.Party org and resident DJ at.

Spiral Shades is a doom metal project formed in 2012 that is inspired by two individuals from different countries with a common goal of making an album together. Khushal Bhadra a Guitarist, Songwriter from India, Mumbai city and Filip Petersen (Guitarist, Bassist) from Norway, Vennesla got to know each other through Youtube because of their common interest in 70's heavy doom/progressive rock music. Some of their main inspiration being music by Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Wino etc Getting to know each other; sharing and admiring each others music resulted in further discussions which finally lead to making an demo album together.

The Demo is titled "Hypnosis Sessions" took around a year an half to complete. Album has 9 tracks; features Filip as a guitarist, bassist and Khushal on lyrics and vocal duties. The drums for this demo were programmed using a software tool. It is a complete virtual project where everything was recorded,shared and mixed mutually. The idea of this album was to relive that very old styled 70's music with raw sound and production.

In recent times there has been a mutual collaboration between the Indian and Norwegian Government to promote cultural and music activities and here's Spiral Shades representing as a perfect symbol of India - Norway ties.
