La crisis de diciembre de 2001 en Argentina, también conocida como el Argentinazo o el Cacerolazo, fue un período de profunda inestabilidad política, económica, social e institucional que tuvo lugar entre el 19 y el 20 de diciembre de 2001, con sus momentos más violentos en Buenos Aires, Rosario y otras grandes ciudades del país.
 Esta crisis se produjo en el marco de una recesión prolongada que comenzó en 1998 y se agravó por la imposición del "Corralito", una medida económica anunciada por el ministro de Economía Domingo Cavallo el 2 de diciembre de 2001, que restringía la extracción de efectivo de los bancos a 250 pesos o dólares por semana.
 Esta medida, diseñada para frenar una corrida bancaria, afectó especialmente a la clase baja y a la clase media no bancarizada, generando un profundo malestar social.

El desencadenante inmediato fue la declaración del estado de sitio por parte del presidente Fernando de la Rúa el 19 de diciembre, tras lo cual se desató una ola de protestas masivas y saqueos en todo el país, con manifestantes que exigían la renuncia de todos los políticos bajo el lema "¡Que se vayan todos!".
 La represión policial durante estos días resultó en la muerte de 39 personas, según el balance más ampliamente aceptado, con cientos de heridos y miles de detenidos.
 El 20 de diciembre a las 19, de la Rúa renunció a la presidencia y abandonó la Casa Rosada en helicóptero, marcando el fin de su gobierno.

Ich schreibe, was ich denke, fühle und erlebe. Schreiben hilft mir, Erinnerungen einzuordnen und ihnen Klarheit zu geben. Wenn Gefühle eine Melodie bekommen, entsteht etwas Wunderbares – eine Botschaft, die direkt ins Herz geht.

Für mich ist es ein Ausgleich, ein Stück Selbsttherapie. Die Texte sind ehrlich und frisch aus dem Herzen. Und wenn ich damit jemanden berühre, der genauso fühlt wie ich, freut es mich umso mehr.

Da ich selbst nicht gut singen kann, nutze ich KI für die Melodie und die Stimme. Ich bin dankbar für diese Möglichkeit, meinen Gefühlen Ausdruck zu verleihen.

I write what I think, feel, and experience. Writing helps me sort out memories and bring them clarity. When feelings find a melody, something wonderful is created – a message that speaks straight to the heart.

For me, it’s a balance, a bit of self-therapy. The lyrics are honest and straight from the heart. And if they touch someone who feels the same way I do, it makes me even happier.

I enjoy composing & producing music in my home studio. Having been turn on to music by the like of Iron Maiden, early Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Megadeth & Queen heavy rock/metal was the original direction I took when I sat down to try to compose my first tunes.

Pink Floyd found a way into my life & also a way into my creative thought process and this was a big turning point for me, the Floyd showed me that verse chorus etc was not all that music could be. I soon started playing with sounds & sound fxs, the world of music had just become so much bigger...........& better.

More bands followed, Gong, Marillion, & the absolutely out of this world Ozric Tentacles all reinforcing the verse chorus 4 minute song is not for everyone.

Finally around 2003 I set out to record what would become my first album/EP Stand Alone Together, id come up with a theme surrounding the 1969 moon landing & how a good % of people believe the mission was a hoax & I wanted to try & tell this story using music. With my Floyd & Maiden influences in hand I set out to piece together some demos I had recording over the previous few years.

I managed to find a really good group of musicians & vocalists to work with who helped massively in the final out come of Stand Alone Together.

The album went on to sell well worldwide through my Myspace page & I also managed to gain plenty of radio airplay along with a handful of interviews, for someone like myself this was a great success & I was over the moon with what we had achieved up to this point. 

Due to family & work life music took a back seat up to 2009 when I finally decided to form a live version of AREA 39 & take Stand Alone Together on the road, the live band just like the studio band was full of great musicians & a great vocalist. We managed to perform a good run of UK live dates before I decided it was time for some new music.

It took between 2012 & 2020 for the next album to be composed & recorded but this time I managed to record all guitars, bass & orchestral parts myself bringing in yet again another great vocalist, well actually she was out of this world & I also brought in really great rock drummer.

This time the vibe was very much more a rock/orchestral sound & with tunes about the Titanic & the Dambusters I decided to call the album Adaptations. The full album is now available on soundcloud free to download.

Here we are now in 2025 and some demos that I have been working on for a few months have started to take shape and they are very different from any of my previous work to date.

These tunes take on a more driving sound, using synths mixed with guitars, is it Alternative? Is it pop? Is it Dance? I'm not sure what genre these tunes are; so, I will let the listeners decide.

I am also using these demos to try and find musicians who like what I've started and would maybe like to get involved to help finish them.
