Spring light filters through the car window onto my pink polystyrene shiny tights. My mum's driving me to work, winding through the trees and the old stone houses. Pubs. Look there's a pretty old church.

Yellow daffs yellow car yellow gorse. Pink camellias I cry from the backseat. The first ones I've seen this year. The same shade of pink that I'm wearing today. I can smell chips. My mum yearns for the beach. I yearn for nothing in this moment, that's odd. 

I love days like these
Daffodils and cherry blossom
Buds grow on the trees
Moving forward, moving forward

Horses grazing rivers flowing. Jackdaw on the road. The car rumbles and tumbles over potholes. Blue washing out on the lines. Blue grey skies. Red brick houses lined up in rows. 

Talk to my friends through my phone. Marco Polo WhatsApp Instagram. I love my friends I wish they were here and we were dancing barefoot on the grass, but they're half way across the world. Still, I think that I can hear them laugh. Hey! (you know who you are!)
