Desert Dance – Springbok and Steenbok, No. 6 in Kalahari Kaleidoscope by Carol Ann Weaver, a cello/piano suite composed in Kalahari, S. Af, 2023, (completed in Ontario, Canada 2024). The piece pays tribute to the lithe, nimble movements of the fastest antelopes in Kalahari, including the pronking (fly/jumping) of springbok and agility of the steenbok.
