Sweeney is a versatile house DJ & producer from the midlands who is rising through the scene on a one-way mission. Learning his craft since 2017, he made his name DJing in the Greek island of Zante for 6 years, hosting and playing at the best parties around. Now settled in the UK he has recently made his mark playing at top UK venues such as Ministry of Sound, Lab11, Digital, and XOYO.

Travelling the world and showcasing his sounds is a big passion for Sweeney which has seen him play in Ibiza multiple times and other top destinations in Europe.

You may expect to hear all sorts of unique productions from Sweeney ranging from melodic breaks through to techno, he is slowly building a solid discography with releases on labels such as YouFunkedUp, Rollerblaster, Feel Hype, Play Records, Toolbox House, New World Sound and V Trax as well exclusive self-releases on Spotify & Bandcamp..

Sweeney's sets have blessed the airwaves over recent years with a residency on Data Transmission, a live set for ANTS Next Gen at Ibiza Sonica radio as well as multiple features on BBC Introducing and guest mixes across more UK radio stations.

A Soul fanatic for almost all my life, if it’s got Soul, it’s got me.
Love to play new and interesting music to people’s ears. Spent my youth DJing Northern Soul at various youth clubs around the Stockport area. Attended Wigan Casino from the second year onwards as I was just 15/16. Played guest spots at many all-nighters and Soul nights up and down the country. 

 For many years I have also been a promoter of many successful events which have become legendary amongst Soulies up and down the UK. 

Started up as the lead singer in the first U.K. Northern Soul tribute band (The Casino Allstars) and performed all over the U.K. for 10years, before returning to my first love of DJing. Please note this was many years before what’s going on now with lots of bands doing our chosen tracks to this day. We performed with top US stars, namely Chuck Jackson, Ronnie Walker, Bunny Sigler and others.

I also was the head of the committee who put together The Manchester Soul Festival which ran for 5 years and was the biggest one day soul event ever in the U.K. with over 30,000 in attendance raising money for the Christie Cancer research team.

Finally before deciding to start this sound cloud show up, I was the resident Northern Soul DJ on KFM Stockport for 8 years and over 550 shows to a world wide audience. 

Djing has taken me all over the UK and Valencia in Spain.
