It’s the first show back in the new year, and I wanted to do something a little different. It’s a time of year when many of us are making resolutions and trying different things. Maybe starting a new hobby… and as I thought of that, I thought to all the people who have approached me since my first book came out way back in 1997, to tell me that they had always wanted to write a book, but didn’t know how to get started.

The New Year is as good a time as any as to get started. 

I’ll give you some information on how to write your own book. In the last few years I have interviewed hundreds of writers and received lots of advice… and today I’ll share some of that with you.

When we meet the future author of “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” she’s struggling to overcome her attraction to women and escape her job as a writer of comic-book stories—a job she hates. While freelancing for a pre-Marvel Comics Stan Lee to pay for a psychiatrist to “cure” her, she falls for Virginia, a member of her therapy group who helps inspire her to write “The Price of Salt,” which would become a landmark of queer literature.

Can a deeply conflicted Pat overcome her disdain for comics (spoiler: no) and herself? And will this moving graphic novel earn its way into that exclusive speakeasy known as ... The Comics Canon?

I have 6 soundclouds now, I forgot I had this one. I was inspired to make music in 2008 and started off with hip hop, then I changed my style to more pop and soft rock, and alternative. I thought I was a rapper but i ended up exploring my sound more and realized I like to sing. Im established on google as Snubbs next in line which I was 14 on that album then I switched to lil snubb, a lot of my albums by this name I was age like 14-17. Then I went to the name Jon Dreams .. I have a few albums by that name also, from age 21-25. I go by Misstyc Mask 2, which I made one album called A Kids Story. It has no swears and is for the kids. Now I’ve been going by my real name Jonathan James Soares which I have a lot of music under that name. I keep my fans updated on how to buy my music and Merch. I'm an actor and model also. I have more than 1 account on a lot of apps because of upload limits and storage. If you don't know how to find my music by now your dumb.

Music is meant to invoke thought, not unlike art, politics, and religion. However, because of the emotional ties that the individual has with different types of music, or certain compositions, we as humans are drawn to certain sounds and textures (each depending on our own likes and dislikes). When we as children listen to music, we imagine a whole world that opens up around us, like a magical forest with dancing trees, or we use it for an adventure for our toys to play in. When we "grow up" (as society calls it), we unfortunately grow out of these practices. We loose our playtime and recess. We start working and paying bills and taking medication. My goal, both as a musician and as a Toy Soldier, is to help everyone that hears my music wake up their imaginations. I want the people of this planet to get a jolt of electricity running through their creative centers. That, my friends, is my goal. I hope you enjoy.
