Speaking from Kyiv, Dickinson outlines how Russia's strategy is not just territorial conquest but cultural erasure. In the 20% of Ukraine currently occupied, Russia bans Ukrainian education, deports those who refuse Russian passports, and resettles people from underdeveloped regions of Russia. Putin’s goal is to make Ukraine Russian—without Ukrainians. Dickinson argues the West must abandon appeasement and instead apply pressure and strength. He believes Western hesitation stems from fears of escalation and the collapse of Russia, which could create new nuclear threats.

Glory To Ukraine

Echoes of Light is an independent music producer who transforms emotion, memory, and real human experience into atmospheric, progressive and cinematic sound. The project was born during a period of deep personal loss, where music became a way to survive, to heal, and to give meaning to moments that words could no longer carry.

With roots in the classic hi-fi world of the 80s and 90s, and supported by formal training in sound engineering, Echoes of Light combines technical precision with emotional depth. Years of work in mixing through the Cambridge Music Technology program helped refine a unique approach to sound design — from controlling bleed in drum recordings to shaping immersive textures and expressive dynamics.

On the technical side, the project has been strongly informed by educators and engineers such as Dan Worrall and Mark Daniel Nelson, whose in-depth explanations of plugins, dynamics and mixing workflows helped shape a deeper understanding of modern audio. The creative inspiration itself, however, comes from within: from lived experience, personal dedication and a constant search for honest expression.

Musically, Echoes of Light blends progressive metal, atmospheric rock, and cinematic soundscapes, creating tracks that feel intimate, emotional, and expansive. Every composition carries a fragment of a story — a moment of truth captured in sound.

Echoes of Light exists where emotion, technique, and storytelling meet.
