Welcome to my journey back to my roots, back to Trinidad and Tobago. After over six years away, I'm finally returning home, and I couldn't be more excited to share my experiences with you through my latest EP.

As I navigate the lively streets resonating with the echoes of passing cars and the rhythmic beats of steel pan during carnival week, every step draws me nearer to the heart of my homeland. Yet, amidst these familiar sights and sounds, it's the sweet allure of Pomerac season that truly tugs at my heartstrings—a nostalgic reminder of childhood joys. Despite my longing, I've yet to savour its taste on this journey home.

Now, as I set out on this adventure to rediscover the flavours, sounds and sights of my past, I invite you to join me on this emotional journey.

Through my music, I aim to evoke the essence of Trinidadian culture, from the lively rhythms to the rich flavours of our native fruits. So come along as I take you on a musical voyage through the sights, sounds, and tastes of Trinidad, as I reconnect with my roots and share my journey of rediscovering home.

TheNPstar, aka Nailah, is a Trini-Canadian self-taught producer, musician and dancer. Growing up, TheNPstar had a love for music and performing arts. The first instrument she played, and continues to play, is the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago, the steel pan. She started producing music in 2019 and released her first single in February 2022, EDM cowboy. Nailah's second album released in April 2024 is now available on all platforms ✨️
