My Guy is a semi-professional bassist, DJ, and producer bringing fresh energy to the music industry. He has performed at major UK festivals, including; Boomtown, Bestival, and Isle of Wight. In doing so he has supported acts such as The Skints, Less Than Jake and Neville Staple (The Specials) on tour supports, with his originals ska band, 'Bigtopp'. While racking up over 600 gigs in their career, they also had appearances on BBC Introducing. Recently, My Guy has supported DJs such as ‘Let There Be House Records’ Glen Horsborough with Discotech, Hau5 Of Jack and dub legends Zion Train at various events.

He graduated in 2016, specialising in dub. He interviewed Bad Manners, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Mad Professor and Hyroglifics, researching Jamaican roots of dub, with the impact it has had on UK club and dance music. Beyond performing, he has a broad background in event management, sound engineering, hospitality, security, and build/break at large events in the UK.

My Guy is growing his DJ presence, sharing his passion for music across multiple dance genres—especially bass-heavy music, with satisfying grooves... and some filthy drops!
