As part of my Youtube video project, I need a few stingers for chapter titles. This one was made for the chapter "The Crying Goddess" The aim is to use it for chapters that are 'unforlding to something otherworldy' so I'm hoping I'll ultimatly be able to use it other places as well.

Kevin D Vowell (formerly under the name @TatteredHumanity)  has been a member of the underground EDM scene for years, releasing impactful cinematic pieces that capture moments through sound, as well as being one half of the duo @Dex-Dex-9 with fellow EDM artist and longtime friend, @Biotechnick_sc. Kevin has always excelled at creating emotive, evocative music while exploring a variety of styles within the EDM genre, and this breadth experience has now led him to work as an independent soundtrack composer. In 2021, Kevin cut his teeth in this field by scoring the short film After Frank. 

Recently, Kevin has stated he is reapproaching his music as both a personal journal and therapeutic outlet. Going forward as a “genreless” artist, Kevin says he wants to “play and explore” with music “however he wants”, and says he is likely to release songs that some people may not exactly even see as “music” - “If I’m creating sound as an accompaniment to visuals”, he said, “then they must be exactly that, accompaniment.” Vowell concluded, “Not every visual is a pleasant one… I should be making scary sounds”.

Pulling inspiration from synthwave, metal, DnB, orchestral film scores, noise, found sound, and industrial music,  Kevin D Vowell’s music is, in his hopes, a way to personify music. He composes purely on the themes he feels need to be created and shared, no longer feeling shackled to what was expected from the brand he initially established. As he enters a new era of creative flexibility and authenticity, there has never been a better time to sit back and enjoy Kevin’s extensive existing catalog, nor a more exciting time to await his new releases.

Nashville-based composer, indie artist, and mix engineer born into a musical family in 1997, Garrett Williamson grew up constantly writing music on the piano and figuring out grooves on the drums. By the time he was 10, he began recording his own music. In 2012, he released his debut album, Edge of the Universe, and from there continued to release more projects commercially. He eventually began working on music for YouTubers such as the group Hidden Block, and for video games including Asagao Academy and Rev Heads Rally. Garrett has also worked on music for professional producers, mainly doing synth and beat design work.

Some of Garrett’s largest influences include The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Foo Fighters, Dirty Loops, Janet Jackson, John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Jamiroquai, and many others. Within video game music, Garrett is heavily influenced by Koji Kondo, Jun Senoue, Simon Stålenhag, Tomoya Ohtani, Yuzo Koshiro, Kazumi Totaka, and many, many more. 

Garrett is currently working on more music for video games, YouTubers, documentaries, and his own personal projects.
