I've been thinking about recording this little Earth cover for a while now.
Scalphunter Blues is one of my favorite warm-up songs to record for my Nightscape project and it's perfect for kicking back and relaxing.
I've heard their live performance at KEXP a million times and I can't wait to hear them perform live!

Formed in Detroit, Michigan in 2024, Deaf Tonics is a virtual American hard rock band, organized by creator Colin Taylor, that incorporates the stoner/desert rock sounds of California, the grunge rock sound of Seattle, the garage rock sound of Detroit, alternative, and heavy metal. The band's sound is often intense and raw. The band often evokes sardonic lyrics and aggressive riffs to get your blood going.

The band's first single, Smugglers, was released in November 2024. The second single, Made Man, was released in December 2024.  The debut album also had a third single, Big Shot Money. The band's debut album, Octane Red, was recorded in November and December of 2024, and released January 2025 on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
