Happy to share a set I played on one of my favorite dancefloor in the world. Under that circus tent I feel so inspired to juggle genres and tempo surrounded by joy and love. hope this set can transmit at list a bit of that magical essence that was swirling on that beautiful sunny day. 

9EYE - Sisyphos | Strand

Der Song „Erste Reihe in Büsum“ ist ein entspannter, humorvoller Reggae mit lockerem Groove und eingängigem Refrain. Er feiert das Leben am Meer, zeigt lebendige Alltagsszenen am Deich und in der kleinen Küstenstadt, und vermittelt eine warme, freundliche Atmosphäre voller Lebenslust und Gelassenheit. Durch die lebendigen Beschreibungen und den entspannten Flow lädt der Song dazu ein, den Moment zu genießen und das Leben „in der ersten Reihe“ mitzuerleben.

Der Song „Watt watt“ ist eine lebendige, entspannte Hymne an das Wattenmeer und das Leben an der Nordseeküste. Er erzählt humorvoll und bildhaft von den Eindrücken beim Barfußlaufen im Schlick, den kleinen Wundern der Natur wie Krabben, Muscheln und Möwen sowie der besonderen Atmosphäre zwischen Ebbe und Flut. Ein fröhliches, maritimes Mitmachlied über die Büsumer Krabben, das die Atmosphäre des Fischfangs im Morgennebel, die harte Arbeit der Fischer und den köstlichen Genuss der frisch gepulten Krabben einfängt. Mit eingängigem Refrain, der zum Mitsingen einlädt, verbindet es Heimatliebe, Tradition und den Stolz auf Büsum.

Bio:
Maltitz, DJ, producer, and head of Rurutu Records, has been a key figure in the electronic music scene since 2006. His dynamic sets span piano, Balearic house, techno, Italo-disco, and electro. Maltitz surprises with a blend of humor, sex appeal, and the right selection for the night, always seeking an emotional connection with the audience. After moving to Berlin in 2014, he became a well-known DJ in the city's club scene, regularly playing at iconic venues such as Renate, Sisyphos, //:about blank, zur Klappe, Anita Berber, Oxi Club, and Watergate, as well as guest appearances at Wilde Möhre, Skalar Festival and Feel Festival. He has also gained recognition beyond Berlin, performing in cities like Frankfurt, Hamburg, Essen, Kassel, Köln, and Dortmund, including a notable appearance at the Hamburg club PAL/NTSC alongside artists like Boris, FJAAK, Sedef Adasi, Héctor Oaks, and Spencer Parker.

In 2024, Maltitz is releasing his debut vinyl EP "Ryokucha EP" on Skylax Records (Paris), along with additional tracks on Bordello A Parigi ("Buone Vacanze"), Watergate Records ("Chaoskinder" EP with Max Joni, featuring a Lauer remix), the "Make Italo Disco Great Again" compilation on Fauve/Cracki Records, and Midnight Operators. He has also released remixes on ZYX Records, including "Open Your Mind" by Last Rhythm, and a remix for Snax on Skylax. Another highlight is his remix of S'Express & Daddy Squad – "Je Suis Acid" (Maltitz Remix).
