About Our Guest:
For more than 30 years Eric Mintel is an acclaimed jazz musician with his group the Eric Mintel Quartet.
Later at night, Eric Mintel investigates the paranormal. Eric was invited to perform twice at the White House for President Clinton in 1998 and for President Obama in 2011. He was also invited to perform at the Kennedy Center over ten times from
1999-2005 and also had a special concert at the United Nations in 2010. He has toured and performed around the country in concert halls, high schools, libraries, elementary schools, churches, jazz clubs and many more venues. A consummate professional in front of the camera, Eric has been on television performing his music as well as being interviewed. He has also had stories written up on his paranormal activities by numerous newspapers and has been featured on radio stations and
podcasts across the country and around the world. Interested in the paranormal from a very young age Eric has lead Eric Mintel Investigates since 2016 seeking out strange stories to tell whether it's ghosts, UFO's, Bigfoot or Dog men. Fans of his music have eagerly followed him into the paranormal world. On many an investigation, Eric and his team have gotten ground breaking footage and captured strange paranormal activity the likes of which have never been seen.

Pete Shredz is a Canadian DJ, producer and promoter spinning Jungle, DnB, UK Garage, Dubstep, Footwork, 2-step and anything else that will help you keep your gun fingers in the air. Shredz brings his high energy, technical mixing to the decks whether he is playing digital or Vinyl. His love for bass music started at a young age through the exposure to Jungle music while travelling to the UK and hearing the early sounds of the genre.

Shredz has been rinsing the decks since 2011 and saw him play alongside DJs such as Bladerunner, Serum, Hedex, Voltage, Kenny Ken, Saxxon, John Rolodex, Gunman, Marcus visionary, Blackley and Lush. He held a regular show on Cre8dnb Radio for 5 years and joined Cre8dnb owner Blackley on the UK radio station Rough Tempo during a takeover show. Shredz now holds a monthly slot on Subtle Radio.

He started Capital Jungle in 2019 to help keep the Jungle and DnB scene thriving in Ottawa. Since moving out to the Kootenays BC in 2023 Shredz has kept Capital Jungle alive, now working with Mr Mugz and putting on events dubbed “Gun Finger Fusion” to help revive the old school feel of raves with amazing sound systems and great vibes. This means a focus on longer DJ sets to let the selectors really take you on a journey and focusing on the art of Dj’ing which includes vinyl sets at each show.

In 2025, Shredz had his first release on Hi Fi Jungle Music with a 3 track EP and played the Village Jungle Rinse-out hosted by John Rolodex at Shambhala Music Festival. Shredz has also slowly started releasing tunes on his new Label, GFP Records, set to see some other names get released later in the year!
