Also known as the Paul E. Meacham Student Services building, the D-building is the main information center and centralized location for the majority of student services;  where students come first and can complete their administrative functions,  from admission to graduation,  as well as socialize in the lounge area.   As you enter the lobby, you’ll see the information desk as well as the Coyote-Q  kiosk. Whether it’s a big or small question, you’ll always want to make sure to sign-in to the Coyote-Q virtual line for whichever student service department you wish to speak with. Here in the Student Services area, you’ll find:

·	The Office of the Registrar, where students can receive information regarding admissions, residency, graduation, the alumni association and everything in between.  

·	The Testing Center is where admitted students can take their initial placement tests and enrolled students can take proctored exams.

·	Academic Advising is where students can receive assistance with academic planning and course selection to meet their educational goals. Academic Advisors also provide students with academic support, career guidance, personalized counseling, and transfer information.

·	The Disability Resource Center or DRC, located on the 2nd floor, is where students with documented disabilities can access resources, accommodations, and highly qualified disability specialists.

·	The Office of Financial Aid provides information and assistance to students applying for Financial Aid, like FAFSA grants, scholarships, and the work study program.

·	Cashier’s Office, where students can handle school-related finances like payment plans as well as additional student fees.

·	Counseling & Psychological Services or CAPS where they offer free, confidential solution-focused counseling with a licensed clinical therapist as well as various mental health workshops and trainings to help students manage their emotional, relational, and behavioral growth. Any CSN student currently enrolled in at least one credit is eligible for CAPS services. CAPS services are available both in-person and online.

The D-Building is also home to our International Center. Did you know that more than 200 international students from over 50 nationalities are currently earning a degree or certificate here at CSN? To make sure that all students feel welcome, the International Center serves as a one-stop service center with multicultural and multilingual professional staff who are eager to assist.

Charleston Campus Episode 4 - Building D Paul E Meacham Student Services

The main building at the North Las Vegas Campus has a main entrance, and a North and South Wing. This is the heart of the academic and student services experience at the North Las Vegas Campus. When you initially enter through the Main Building Entrance, you’ll notice the Starbucks coffee bar to your left, if you walk past this you will enter the North Wing. There is a dedicated North entrance, with access to academic classrooms. Directly in front, when you enter the main entrance, is the June Whitley Student Lounge, and the CSN Bookstore is located to your right where you can find all of your textbooks available for rent or purchase in addition to essential school supplies, CSN swag, and even a few snacks and refreshments inside the CSN Bookstore. Additionally, you can search for your textbooks on the bookstore website.

All of these are keys to the day-to-day experience on this campus. You can spend time hanging out and studying in the lounge, while ordering a drink from the Starbucks Coffee Bar or grabbing a snack, CSN swag, or renting and buying textbooks from the bookstore.

Walking past the bookstore, let's explore the South Wing, which has its own south entrance. On this side of campus is the Early Childhood Education Program, which doubles as both a learning environment for students and a childcare facility for CSN Community members to utilize. Lastly the South Wing contains one of only two planetariums in the state of Nevada.   In addition to serving as a lab for astronomy students, the Planetarium hosts programs for the public and local schools on our domed screen utilizing a high-definition hemispheric video projection system that creates virtual realities on the dome surrounding the audience.  Three observatories on site allow students and the public to witness the stars above.

Directly across and down the hall from the bookstore is the Student Services East Wing. This students-first oriented area of the main building houses all the student resources needed to enroll and succeed at CSN.  Here you will find services such as:

•	The Office of the Registrar
•	 The Testing Center 
•	The Disability Resource Center
•	The Office of Financial Aid
•	The Cashier’s Office

On the second floor of the main building is the Library and Office of Academic Advising. The library provides books, audio visual, periodical collections, and a vast catalog of digital scholarly sources available through the CSN library website.  The Interlibrary loan system allows for obtaining material outside of our institution. Additionally, the library contains study rooms that you can reserve with your library card and computers that you can utilize as well.

NLV Campus Episode 1 - Building E, (Main) Includes: North, South and G Building

The B Building of the Henderson campus, is where you will find all the student resources needed to enroll and succeed at CSN.  Here you will find services such as:

•	The Office of Recruitment and Admissions, where you can begin your enrollment process at CSN and ask all your questions before applying. 
•	The First Year Experience office assists first-year students with the transition to college life.
•	The Office of the Registrar, where students can receive information regarding enrollment, residency, graduation, the alumni association and everything in between.  
•	The Disability Resource Center or DRC is where students with documented disabilities can access resources, accommodations, and highly qualified disability specialists.

CSN takes campus and student safety very seriously. On your tour, you may have noticed a few towering red poles labeled “Emergency”. If the moment should ever arise, you can feel safe in knowing that these emergency call boxes, which are available campus-wide, can connect you to the University Police and Campus Security.

Finally, the Art Gallery is a new addition to the B Building with artwork produced by our students. Students are free to use the space as a place to relax and admire the work of some of our top students.
