The long awaited ShredX DnB mix is finally out! This is a long time coming, I've only been teasing a full DnB mix since RE2 released. I'm so excited for this one, I've been on a massive DnB binge for the past two years and I think it's about time I put together all my fav tracks and routines in a mix. I would've dropped it earlier this year but some significant life events forced me to delay the release, but now is the time! On his fourth studio album, ‘Contact,’ veteran DJ/producer Sub Focus expands the drum & bass horizon through collaborations with acts like Grimes, John Summit and more. In this exclusive commentary, he breaks down the inspirations behind the album and dives into the making of key tracks. Creating a “cyberpunk aesthetic” with Grimes was “a dream come true,” he says. The track “Let Your Body Rock,” which has become a key, hypnotic component of his live set, was inspired by a Chemical Brothers show he caught a few years ago.
