This was largely inspired by old crazy DnB programming, but I wanted to add my own twist to it by doing it on an SPC700. Fitting 26 samples(!) into 38KB feels like magic wizardry, and then managing to get a full 5 minute song going on that poor machine was brutal. But I am certain the results paid off, and am in love with this song.

Captain Tsubasa 3 - Japanese Team Finals

Cover of "Your Name, Please" from Earthbound/Mother 2, first released in 1994 for the SNES/Super Famicom. Music composed by Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka, with Hiroshi Kanazu and Toshiyuki Ueno.

I wanted to put my own spin on this tune while retaining its core groove and melody.

The main points of change are: the intro, the bassline, the addition of a guitar part and the addition of a high harmony to the lead synth in the latter part of the track. Otherwise, aside from some instrument differences, the arrangement is largely unchanged from the SNES original.
