De elfde aflevering van het vierde seizoen van Cinepraatjes, de podcast van Cinemaatjes. Een behoorlijk chaotische aflevering die we opnamen op ‘Coming Out Day’ en dat sluit mooi aan. We hebben een nieuw Maatje op onze Patreon-pagina. Het is uiteraard ook Halloween-maand en op ons YouTube kanaal hebben we dat omgedoopt naar ‘Oc2ber’ en bespreken we de hele maand tweede delen van een horror-franchise. Kenny Rubenis wees ons op de musical van ‘The Warriors’. Uiteraard is er weer een sonnet van Marino van Liempt. We hebben de ‘Melo-Cakes’ genoeg tijd gegeven om daadwerkelijk ons te sponsoren, dus we zijn overgestapt op een ander koekje. William keek toevallig ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ en kwam erachter dat die exact 50 jaar geleden was uitgekomen. JP wil het kort even hebben over ‘Love Lies Bleeding’, die William eerder al besprak. William was toevallig spontaan in z’n eentje naar ‘The Substance’ geweest en bespreekt dat. JP heeft nog een dikke aanrader, waar hij niet teveel over wil zeggen nl. ‘Strange Darling’ en keek ook nog ‘Hellboy: The Crooked Man’. We trokken ’Superstition’ uit de kast, een film die we eerder al bespraken op ons YouTube-kanaal. In de Special gaan we verder met de ‘A Nightmare on Elmstreet’ franchise en zijn we aangekomen, en het kon niet beter uitkomen, bij het tweede deel ‘A Nightmare on Elmstreet 2: Freddy’s Revenge’ van Jack Sholder. Ook beantwoorden we weer vragen van luisteraars over o.a. filmcomedies die slecht oud zijn geworden, regisseurs die ermee op mogen houden en die snel weer een nieuwe film moeten maken, welk horror karakter we zelf zouden willen spelen, villains met een goed motief en van welke films er best een tekenfilmserie mag komen voor kids. Veel luisterplezier!
