Yesterday I was listening to @meduzamusic 's Essential Mix, and when I heard @surmillo 's track Dreamer, it was quite obvious that it would fit well with Wonderland Avenue's hit "White Horse".
So here it is, my 2024 version of this 2005 hit !

Clubsonica Records opens their 2025 campaign by unveiling the seventh edition of their popular Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, operating as an extension to the imprint's MMW and ADE showcases. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels and Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their seventh edition as 2025 begins to take shape, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most anticipated volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): David Podhel, Noise Generation, Greta Meier, K Loveski, Nicolas Benedetti, Phillipe Lois, Surmillo and GAU.

The release concludes with Surmillo and GAU making their debut with ‘Complete Me'. Cyprus based artist Surmillo has travelled a less than conventional path since his first release in 2019. With a discography that features progressive, organic and melodic house & techno, through to indie dance and electronica, Surmillo would have to be considered one of his country's most versatile talents. Key projects via Buttress, BAU_HAUS, Diynamic, Melody Lab and Suprematic have been instrumental in showcasing his artistic adaptability, in turn earning support from Meduza and Solomun, amongst others. Carrying that momentum into the new year, Surmillo pairs with vocalist GAU for their Clubsonica debut ‘Complete Me', a deeply engaging journey into hypnotic house.

Welcome to the episode 63 of ZZGO Radio!

This last month I've mostly been focused on prepping for Burning Flipside, an official regional Burning Man event just north of Austin, Texas at the end of April.  I've been busy painting all 80-something panels for the 20 foot (6 meter) diameter dome I built for last year, as well as working on upgrading the projection mapping setup inside.  It's a ton of work, but I'm really excited to bring this large scale art piece back to the event.

In other news, a few weeks ago I hosted a Flow event with some Estonian friends.  My Flow co-founder and general partner in crime DJ Seldonite was able to join me for an extended b2b which was a ton of fun.  It was also bittersweet as that was the last time we'll get to play together for the foreseeable future as he is moving to Denver this week.  Christian has been a great partner in Flow ATX, so he'll be missed.  Thank you my friend for all the amazing memories we made together, and best of luck in your new home.

La cuarta referencia del sello Unheard Black llega envuelta en texturas oscuras, ritmos eléctricos y una sensibilidad que atraviesa la pista con elegancia y contundencia. Hablamos de “Digital”, el nuevo track de Surmillo, y su aportación al split EP Naughty Digital, compartido con el fundador del sello, pizzaaftersex.

En este corte, Surmillo despliega toda su personalidad con una producción que mezcla tensión, profundidad y potencia. Un groove mecánico y emocional, donde el synth es filo y abrigo a la vez. Un tema que no busca agradar: busca resonar.

Lejos de ser un simple debut, “Digital” es una declaración de intenciones. Una apuesta sin concesiones que sitúa al productor dentro del mapa del Indie Dance más crudo y estilizado, sin perder la pista de lo emocional.

Born and Raised in Grenoble - FR, now living in the Geneva Area - CH,
I have been passionate about Electronic music and especially Techno since I was a kid. 
This is why you will find a lot of older, some would say classic tracks in my Reboots. Because my Techno memories take me wayyyyy back, and I work a lot based on my emotions and memories :)

To me, doing Mash Ups is a discipline on its own amongst Music Production. I do take it seriously. It's not just quickly putting a vocal in the break of another track, not really caring if it fits well or not, just to be cool and trend on a currently hyped track.
I'd rather not work on a track I love than doing it just for the sake of doing it and actually not bringing any interesting new dimension to it or do something mediocre. 
That's why it sometimes takes me several months between wanting to rework a track I like and actually doing it. because I won't do it if it half-assed. I will wait until I have something that truly fits and makes a worthy Reboot.
My philosophy when it comes to producing my Reboots is to create something new, to take the original track out of its context/style and give it a brand new identity, something that could be a remix, or another original track altogether, not just 2 different tracks played on top of each other.
I was standing right next to Joachim Garraud, back in 2005, when he dropped for the very first time this UFO of a track that "The Egg Vs Love don't Let me go" was. He had finished it earlier that day and had kept it a secret. I remember all of our faces, staring at each other, our jaws had all dropped to the floor. The entire club was SHOCKED, stunned, amazed, in TRANCE.
This is the impact, the power, a good Mash Up can have. It can be even more powerful than an original track, because it will take a track people already know and love, with all the emotions and memories they have associated to it, into a new universe. And this is EXTREMELY powerful.

Suprematic Sounds is a platform for underground electronic music. We publish daily premieres, free tracks and podcasts from established artists and local talents.

I got a day job by mistake.  I'd rather spin music.

Nacido en Sevilla y afincado en Granada, Ernesto Cubero Font conocido como S3NR3 ha estado rodeado de música desde pequeño. Sus padres le introdujeron en la música clásica y el flamenco, pero a los 17 años asistió a su primer festival de música y vio de primera mano el poder y la conectividad de la música electrónica quedando cautivado y desde ese momento su vida giró en torno a ella. 

Viajes, eventos y mas viajes buscando a sus djs preferidos por el mundo junto con temporadas en Ibiza, amistades con djs y productores, pronto empezó a organizar sus propios eventos, creando el colectivo SES PARTY en 2010. A partir de ahí fue contratado por un grupo empresarial Granadino para la organización de eventos de todos los sabores y colores. 

Fue hace menos de un año cuando se equipo de Dj´s le impulsó a iniciarse como tal, y dio al salto a las cabinas de las pistas granadinas siendo un fijo de  promotoras como  The Zoo, Origengorund y la propia Ses Party.

S3NR3 se propone una misión con su intento de hacernos reconectar y sentir más. Aunque su música pertenece a la escena underground, su sonido melódico y envolvente es agradable para cualquier tipo de oído. Música profunda y sincera, con remixes vintages adaptados a la escena del Deep y donde se ve su influencia de la escena máquina vocal de los inicios de siglo o incluso la línea mas Deep minimal alemana de los inicios de 2010.
