Hey we are Angus and august, and we’re super stoked to be featured on the mix series. If you’re interested in us, we’re just a couple of guys living in a share house and we have decks.

Step into the desolate outskirts of a forgotten town where the whirring mechanisms of a malfunctioning robot echo through the misty air in "The Machine Falls Into a Swamp," a chilling techno odyssey with a sinister mechanical heart. As you venture deeper into the overgrown wilderness, the rusted hulks of abandoned factories loom like tombstones, bearing witness to the tragic fate that awaits the unsuspecting automaton. In this foreboding landscape, every glitching circuit and malfunctioning cog serves as a portent of impending doom, leading you on a harrowing journey into the murky depths where man and machine converge in a haunting dance of destruction and decay. Most people know my music to be bloodthirsty.
However, slower, swampier emotional music is actually where I am happiest. 
I find ways to express myself at this tempo that I cannot do through words.

You can imagine how happy I was when my new, but dear, friend Sheri asked me specifically to play this kind of music on the Flying Dutchman.

The morning of Wednesday at AfrikaBurn I woke up feeling an electric energy in the air. ⚡
To say I was excited is an understatement.
Before long I was officially welcomed in by Eddy the desert pirate queen 👑. 

The plan was set, dinner was had, friends were made, and off I trod back home to get ready.

If I dare say so myself, my set went off. It came out better than I had planned. This set was by far the one I planned for the most. 
Around 12H of pure planning before I even got to the desert.

I feel an overwhelming amount of privilege having been given the honour of playing on the Dutchman and being given the opportunity to meet and work with their amazing team and a few very very very talented artists 🎨.

To the friends who are becoming my family 🫶 
I salute you.
