She is often compared to the voices of Scarlett Johansson, Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Anniston, and Cate Blanchett and often asked to deliver authentic soundalikes of famous elderly actresses. She is best known for my soundalike as Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown in Bridgerton. She does not impersonate, she emulates, presenting the voices as real and grounded, not comedically. She is a voice actor building a character from the ground up. Mims says, "I respect Julie Andrews’ career journey and admire her. I just happen to have that voice that can do that thing. Likewise, is my soundalike of the late Angela Lansbury. Women whom I admire. I may not have gown up in Vaudeville, but I to started on stage in staged musicals when I was five years old. I also happened to study voice with Marni Nixon in NYC, (that trivia is merely a coincidence that musical and film nerds might appreciate reading.)"

    She prefers voice acting work that is character-driven using voice-acting abilities and range. She really enjoyes documentary narration too. She is versatile and open to all types of work.
