This is a mix set I recorded at home on my Pioneer XDJ-XZ stand-alone controller upon request from a podcast organization in France: Collation Electronique". I surely will add the ID's at some point one of them being from an absolute favorite the artist Henning Bear or the Dutch DRSSN a young woman active now for a good couple of years as a brilliant spiritual producer and Techno dj. 

The mix is a composition of Electro tracks and various Techno ones reflecting the political and cultural climate at that time : end 2022. Our scene had recently entirely re-opened and was very vulnerable and still unclear to the direction it would take. Also vastly dominated by social media influencer digital dj's that tipped the scale and resulted in the current struggle it now founds itself : large gap between the artists, dominance of certain trends, work ethics and work invested not being recognized and rewarded.

My preference will always go to the 'underdog" cheering for the one who put the work, respect the sound and the scene and does not fake with marketing tactics.

Inez Akker

Inez Akker is an emerging Techno artist from Spain based in the Netherlands. In 2018, she began her musical journey when she purchased her first DJ gear, exploring the depths of Techno and recording sets that she shared on SoundCloud. 

She quickly gained recognition and secured her first gig at H7 Warehouse with Olivier Weiter, hosted by Amsterdam's promoter Dutch Techno Venue.

Inspired by her love for Electronic Music, she became a Resident DJ and Assistant Manager at Papaya Records, showcasing her talent at prominent clubs such as PIP and Magazijn in The Hague.

Inez's musical aspirations led her to invest time in the studio during the challenging period of 2020-2021, refining her production skills and elevating her DJ abilities. 

As a result, she crafted a unique sound that combines raw, groovy and hypnotic elements layered on top of her signature banging beat.

Her passion and dedication have garnered recognition in the industry over the years. Among her milestones, she won SAE Amsterdam's ADE Production Challenge in 2022, played regular gigs at Melkweg Amsterdam as a resident of Techno Tuesday since 2022, and signed multiple releases with reputable record labels, solidifying her position as a rising force in the Techno scene.

Synatec is a longtime techno DJ and producer, whose experience and passion for electronic music are reflected in her selections and performances. Throughout her career, she has captured the raw essence of techno music, blending innovation and heritage, becoming a key figure in the European techno scene.

For its collaboration with the Collation Electronique show, broadcast on French radio during the month of September 2025, Synatec has chosen to highlight three exceptional artists who, each in their own way, are redefining the boundaries of techno music.

Synatec

She's a French-born, Amsterdam-based DJ & Producer with a rich history in electronic music. While studying Arts in Paris she became vastly influenced by artists like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and EBM bands, she began DJing in the mid-90s, with her early sound shaped by labels like R&S and Warp. Her career took off in Paris, where she explored international industrial sounds. She later co-founded the B.A.S.S. collective, which was one of the first all-female DJ groups, inspiring many women in the rave scene.

Synatec's journey includes various DJ aliases, such as Witchcraft for Hardcore Techno and Nuala for Jungle/Drum'n Bass. She gained success in the Benelux, Germany, and Israel, and B.A.S.S performed at the renowned Lowlands festival. After a brief hiatus, she returned to Drum’n Bass in Amsterdam, followed by a shift back to her Techno and Electro roots. During the pandemic, she pursued certification in Electronic Music Production and relaunched her career through live streams and events.

In 2024, Synatec joined the DAMN TECHNO organization, organizing events to unite old-school and new-school techno communities. Her style is versatile, blending UK Breaks, Jungle, Techno, Hardcore, and Electro. Recently, she released "Limbo" on Da Traxx Recordings PARIS and had upcoming projects like “Missing Pieces” on Cherry Juice Recordings. Synatec continues to perform across Europe, including residencies in Amsterdam.
