Positive Vibes

As I had some ghosts in my machines and in my life it took a while for me to create a new song.

Again, I've created the song within the sound aesthetics of 80s Electro/Synth-Pop.

The song lyrics came to me through the loss of a "relative".

I hadn't seen my father for some 35+ years. I made my peace with that non-existant relationship also a long time ago.
 
Then he happened to pass away, and all of a sudden this person I actually never knew literally haunted my life by all the worldly things that happen when people die (the last will, official administration, attorneys and so on)...
..it made me think of: If and how it is possible to leave or lose people and to what extent that really is irrevocable or ultimately.

I came to realize: No depature of or from anyone is as definitely as one may think (or wish)...

Ich bin ein Altenpflegehelfer aus Mönchengladbach, spiele Gitarre, singe und schreibe Songs, und bin seit einigen Jahren Mitglied in einer Band.

When I started listening to music by my own choice and to my own taste (at the age of 10) it was the time of Neue Deutsche Welle in Germany. The music basically was new wave but sung in german - So it somewhat paved my way musically. Eversince I had been attracted to and inspired by either moody/dark or weird music. 

First musical experiments were started more or less immediately. In the beginning with the typical "houshold" instruments like flutes, marimba and so on. Recordings were done on a cheap taperecorder. Going on in time that changed to the more typical gear as guitar, bass, synth's and the likes.

I had played in a few gothic-rock / new wave bands and later in EBM / Synth-pop projects.

Turns out the juvenile wish to become a star wouldn't become true, but then - it's not so bad not having to fight paparazzi when going for a walk ;-)

What remains is that I like weird / moody music a lot and still like to create it myself. 
So I hope you will enjoy it, too...

Music - It's about letting the emotions run free. Therefore I don't care to much about genres - which makes things interesting. Maybe sometimes a little uncomfortable for the listener. 
I just do what feels right for me at the time. So if you like what I do - great. If not you might like the next track.

My music is written and produced by myself and has not been Mastered. I am aware of the fakt that my mixdowns are nowhere near professional studio-standards, but hey - I do what I can... Practice makes perfect!
