While we all know there are debates about issues like Daylight Savings Time and Time Zones, Time Policy is a field that can go much deeper to explore political, social, and economic inequalities.

tech inside: the latest on AI

Een nieuwe versie van Seelenabenteuer, oftewel zielenavontuur, zoals Jeroen ooit deze mooie titel verzon om deze stijl setjes te omschrijven. Dit is inmiddels nummer 3 en meer dan ooit een zielenavontuur - althans, voor mij dan. Deze set staat in het teken van mijn reis door Nieuw Zeeland, waar ik met mijn lief afgelopen januari en februari was. Dit land en deze reis hebben zoveel indruk gemaakt. Alles stond in het teken van natuur, hiken maar vooral vertragen. En dat is precies wat ik heb proberen te vangen in deze set.

De tracks komen uit een playlist die m'n bestie Fiona en ik zorgvuldig hebben samengesteld, genaamd Heart & Mind. Deze playlist heb ik ook daadwerkelijk veel geluisterd tijdens de reis. Tijdens de autoritten, op de natuurcampings, in the middle of nowhere (wat daar nogal veel was), tijdens de zonsondergangen. 

De set begint met de geluiden van de Nieuw-Zeelandse vogels, voornamelijk van de tūī: een geluid waar ik instant gelukkig van word als ik dat weer hoor (vogelnerd hier). Verder staat tijdens deze set niet zo zeer het mixen centraal, maar eerder de muziekkeuze en volgorde. Ik heb er erg van genoten om dit te maken omdat het mij, in hoeverre dat kan, eventjes terug brengt naar Nieuw-Zeeland.
