YOUPHORIA X CINEMATIC DJ CONTEST MIX - CHAR

The Muscarelle Museum of Art at William &amp; Mary has been in the spotlight lately generating media coverage by the Wall Street Journal and others thanks to its current exhibition, Michelangelo: The Genesis of the Sistine. The exhibition, running through June 1st, &nbsp;displays Michelangelo’s early drawings of the famous frescoes of the Sistine Chapel. Organizations like the Muscarelle are part museum, part art gallery, and part business. David Brashear is the director of the Muscarelle Museum. After earning his MBA from Harvard Business School, he worked in the private sector as an entrepreneur, division manager, and consultant. And he uses his business experience to lead the museum. Just a chill guy who enjoys all kinds of drum and bass music. I love to make people vibe, move and having a great time!

All of my tracks on Soundcloud are free to download. 100% of my tracks on Soundcloud are my own original works, I don't do covers, arrangements or remixes.  I mainly write melodies, my pieces usually consist of a lot of melodic content and are melody driven. My music is multi-instrumental, I use many different instruments.. Many of my pieces contain more notes than a Pop song, less notes than a symphony. 

I compose music in many genres: Children's, Jazz, Melodic, Ethnic, Space, Halloween, Classical, Southern/Western, Rock. My music encompasses a lot of variety, it is eclectic. All my pieces have been notated, contact me and send me your email address if you want free PDF's of particular compositions. I currently use Sibelius 7.1.3 and Noteperformer. I have been writing music since I was in Junior High School, I have some songs with lyrics, but most are instrumentals. I was in band in High School and College, and I have been a member in several choirs as well.  

Update: I have recently uploaded virtually all of the compositions I have composed since 1997. I have included playlists as part of my offerings, with compositions from many novel genres.

I am open to collaborations with members of Soundcloud.

I have many pieces that are crafted primarily using the Aeolian scale. Some examples include, "Exotic Emerald", "Starlight Vow", "Bard 2 with Violin", "An Evening in Chatham Bay" and "Sacred Turkish Fountain".

JAKELOV is an electronic music producer and DJ based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Jake's roots started with producing hip-hop beats and house music, which has progressed to producing various styles of bass music including but not limited to deep dubstep, experimental bass, and drum & bass. After DJing in his local college scene and local bass music shows, the JAKELOV project was born. 

Known for selecting from a plethora of unreleased music and hard hitters from the underground, JAKELOV has supported artists like EPTIC, Tripp St, Minnesota, Ternion Sound, Chef Boyarbeatz, Criso, ++ more. JAKELOV blends genres including but not limited to Dubstep, Garage, Halftime, and drum and bass.

JAKELOV has released several records on established labels - with plenty more on the way, the project shows no signs of slowing down with plenty of unreleased music coming to streaming platforms soon.
