True Story w/ TexMex Shaman

There is something about the way our styles meld together that works so well, everything just flows! For this one I was jamming out a melodies on a blues scale, and Stephen added some killer experimental guitar weirdness that elevates it to whole other level.

This is the 8th track in me and @texmex-shaman Stephen's "Texas Tea" playlist! I think this one has a little bit of a different flavor to it, there is an exotic feel to the acoustic guitar that really just completes the song in my opinion. He also contributed two other guitar parts which are a bit more in the background but also really help bring the piece to life. It's been a few months since @texmex-shaman and I have released a new 'Texas Tea' production. This one has a bit of a wacky weird vibe to it. My working title was 'rusty' so that evolved into this reference to a certain 90s/00s cartoon character's alter ego.

Focus (Screwed)

Another really fun collab with the legendary @TexMex-Shaman!

I'll often sketch out music ideas and compose midi melodies on the ipad as a first step, but took a different approach and constructed this one entirely in Ableton Live which I have been transitioning more of my process to lately.

After building the foundation I sent it to Stephen and he added some suuuper creative guitar parts that really build the atmosphere and take it to a whole other level. Very happy how this came out, hope you'll enjoy it!

New album Audio/Visual is now available exclusively on SC and BandCamp, featuring my favorite tracks from 2024-25. Releases to Spotify and other platforms on September 30th!

My genre influences include electronic, downtempo, lofi, experimental, rock, blues, indie, prog, post rock, ambient, synthwave, trip hop, and hip hop. 

My recent tunes are produced using Ableton Live, FabFilter suite plugins, and often feature synths like Pigments, Microfreak, and Minilogue XD. I'm also beginning to incorporate guitar a lot more!
