Fresh Frequencies presents the fourteenth chapter in this amazing psychedelic series of "GoaTrance PsyStoned", containing outstanding psytrance dancefloor smashers selected and compiled by one and only, EL-Jay.EL-Jay aka Luc Wijdeveld (born in 1956), Dutchman, has always been a rocker and a raver. Already very early at the age of 12, he started to play with vinyl singles at the school parties, all in the mono characteristic of that time period. Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and more pop-rock took him and his crew from party to party. He was not always active as a DJ himself. He also liked organizing parties, but also visiting other events. Slowly he became familiar with the EDM dance music in 1993 and started to play as DJ hard-techno in the underground scene. What many DJs consider important to be known, did not interest him. He did his own thing and what others thought of it, he did not interest at all. Out of dissatisfaction with Trance DJ sets, he started recording cassette tapes in 2006, which he mixed himself. Rocker and raver he was, he quickly mixed podcasts that he played on URTranceZone, a popular American community Trance website. Soon it was noticed by various internet radio stations because his style was rough and tough Uplifting, Dark, Tech and Psy Trance, he also played earlier Progressive and had 3 important radio shows: TranceStoned, Tranced Emotion and Possession. In 2015 he started with PsyStoned, and later on did stop with the other genres, found his spirit in Psytrance & (Dark) Goa. His duties in Internet DJ-ing reached over 1000 episodes of 2 hours or more. In 2018 he started a non-profit collab with Geomagnetic Label Group, with the VA – GoaTrance PsyStoned series on Fresh Frequencies, connected with the PsyStoned Radioshow in same formula: Young releases in balance close in same sound with the pearls of the past, upbuilding in tempo with Psy Space, Progressive Psy, Psytrance, Psy-Tech Goa & Dark.

He‘s feasting on music: 2 – 4 hours of fresh sound. Every single day. A diet that makes Sebastian Kos a remarkably up-to-date and versatile DJ. Also a good reason why the Swiss is gaining more and more popularity at the moment.


Back in the day, music selection used to be the most important job of a DJ. In face of the ever growing torrent of new sound out there, it seems like this skill is rapidly becoming increasingly important. Swiss DJ Sebastian Kos is a good example: His sets are highly eclectic, they derive ideas, styles, and taste from an extremely broad and diverse range of Psytrance and its subgenres. It‘s no surprise that he is often booked to play during the prime time of a party, as he seems to have a very special knack for playing the right tune at the right moment. Speaking of right tunes: There‘s always a fair share of unreleased tracks in his collection. Spinning records since 1997, he gained great technical precision, frequently playing in the tropical party hotspots of Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and Bangkok for the last 12 years added to his sound a feeling of internationality and acidic sexiness. In this respect Sebastian is a perfect match for Antu Records, which he currently represents as a label DJ.
One impressive example for Sebastian‘s skill is Summer Never Ends Festival 2013, where he hit the spot and sent the 10,000 party heads on the main floor to a most blissful state of mass euphoria. Listening to new music in his home studio for 2 – 4 hours every day and managing an increasingly tight booking schedule is still not enough to keep him occupied. Since 2013 Sebastian Kos is organizing both Psychedelically Family and 7sd parties. The next edition has been announced for April, it will be a joint venture with Xerks Music and will take place in Switzerland. Also watch out for the first chapter of the Psychedelically Family compilation, to be released sometime in the year. In May, Sebastian Kos will play at the Shankara Gathering in Denmark. Mariano Tomasian, de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Baterista y productor de psytrance y full on, actualmente miembro del roster de la productora World Psy en Bs As, y miembro de la crew Nucleo Pineal de artistas electronicos de las costas de Brasil.

Comenzó su carrera como productor de musica electronica en el 2017, y desde entonces ha lanzado su musica por labels internacionales como TED Records, Ovnimoon Records, Geomagnetic Label Group, The Locker, Let it Out Records, entre otros.
Su busqueda está orientada a las bases grooveras que tiene como baterista, haciendo especial atención a sus drops energicos e intrincados, que invitan a bailar de diversas formas en la pista.

En el 2022 se presentó por 1era vez en Brasil, en el marco del festival Santa Psicodelia en praia Lagoa Azul, Porto Seguro BA. Y luego 2nda presentación en el mes de agosto en Porto Velho, Rondonia.

Actualmente se lo puede encontrar en todas las plataformas, tanto el proyecto Tomasian, como con Space Cream, proyecto que co-produce con Pelotero. Proximamente lanzará un EP con su nuevo proyecto Digital Warriors que comparte con el productor argentino Pepsan.
