TPWD staff are proposing delineation of upstream reservoir boundaries for Choke Canyon Reservoir in Live Oak and McMullen counties and O.H. Ivie Reservoir in Coleman, Concho and Runnels counties to differentiate between the inflowing river and the reservoir where special exceptions to statewide fishing regulations are in place.

Texas anglers have until the end of March to loan any largemouth bass they catch weighing 13-pounds or more to the program so they can be selectively bred at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens.  The bred fish's offspring will then be distributed back into the lakes the adult lunkers were caught in to create bigger, better bass.
