9000 has been deeply embedded in the fabric of the global club scene since the mid-80s. At a remarkably young age, he found himself drawn to London’s vibrant nightlife, frequenting iconic spots like the Electric Ballroom and the Kit Cat Club in Westbourne Grove. These formative experiences laid the foundation for his eclectic musical tastes and relentless pursuit of sonic exploration.

Since 1991, 9000 has been a key figure in the nightlife of Berlin. His wide-ranging musical spectrum moves fluidly between new wave, post-punk, and Italo disco to techno, electroclash, and even the roaring sounds of the 2020s. As a resident of Berlin and a citizen of the world, 9000’s performances reflect his deep connection to both the local underground and global club culture. 

With over three decades of experience, 9000 continues his uniquely curated journeys that blend nostalgia with modernity, taking listeners on a timeless musical voyage.

A Tokyo-based tech-house DJ/producer, CARTOON is the first Japanese artist to be signed to ULTRA RECORDS, a prestigious dance music label in New York that has released works by world-renowned producers such as Steve Aoki, KYGO, deadmau5, and Black Coffee. The first Japanese artist to sign a contract with ULTRA RECORDS.He has already released two singles, "All Night Long" and "We Bang," and supported the RESISTANCE stage at ULTRA JAPAN in 2022 and 2023, performing with Space 92 & Popof, Julian Jeweil, Hiroko Yamamura, and others. He has been the main act for WORLD-MARKETZ, HOUSE TRIBE, and other parties at Shibuya WOMB, and has invited Dubfire, Mark Night, Roger Sanchez, and others to perform at these events with great success. In addition to being a DJ, he is also a popular MC on "InterFM. His program "sensor" is hosted live every Friday from 7:00 pm for 3 hours. Furthermore, his activities are not limited to music, but have influenced a wide range of fields including fashion. In 2019, he was selected by GQ JAPAN as a featured international DJ in Japan for his contribution to music, fashion, and culture.
