Henka means 'Change' in Japanese.

This set is inspired by the inevitable change that's part of our lives. Sometimes the changes we experience are welcomed, they feel pleasant and full-filling, and sometimes they're not. But in the end, it's experiencing that range that contrast that makes us feel alive.

His passion for electronic music was born at an early age, influenced by Deep House. His love for sound led him to start his career as a DJ in 2009, mixing at small parties in his city.

Each of his sessions stands out for a rhythmic richness that shapes a unique, pure and deep sound. His musical selection fuses textures and enveloping atmospheres, transporting the listener on a sonic journey through the sounds of the underground.

His style oscillates between Deep, Organic and Progressive House, always with a marked preference for groove.

He currently hosts "Armónica Sounds", his radio show dedicated to exploring and promoting the freshest and most avant-garde sounds of the organic scene. A space where exclusive sets and carefully curated guest sessions converge, creating a sonic experience and highlighting emerging and established talents from the scene.

Established himself as a staple in the Canadian electronic music scene, the Dj and producer is also making waves amongst the industries’ pioneers.

Having been described as a top production talent to look out for, by Hernan Cattaneo, and invited by the legendary Robert Miles to play at his OpenLab residency in Ibiza, Alfa State has caught the attention of taste makers from around the world.

With releases on Sudbeat, Tale and Tone, Seven Villas Music and Dawn Till Dusk, Alfa State has carved out a niche for his style of productions.
