Didn't read the song details because I'm a dick, assumed 4/4 but no 6/8!!! I thought the bpm quoted was wrong. Spent A LOT of time in Melodyne scratching my head - now it explains why I had to learn how to quantise triplets!!  Melodyne thinks my mix is 3/4 and 101 bpm. Oh well, I Just used the two vocal stems of Ellie and Tarrus. The song is great at the original tempo but wanted to make a banger, teaser opening. Played around a lot with the root notes. Got a stomping straight 4/4 beat from combining two drum machines TR909 and Prism California Pop (Kontakt instrument). Used only Arturia synths - I am addicted to the SEM, Mini Moog, Moog Modular, Solina and Vocoder (the outro shows how good that Vocoder is, once you work it out). Lots of gronky gnarls and squeaks. Produced using  Izotope Neutron 5 and Ozone 11.   Really got a lot of clarity out of this mix that I wasn't expecting.

"Mr. Hype" (born Alfrain Supaul on 30th April 1983 in Punta Gorda, Belize City, Belize) is a Disc Jockey and Radio Personality. Mr. Hype began his career playing music in PG in the late 1998 and Professionally launched his Career at Wave Radio in 2001. He is very well known for his Show on Wave Radio The "Drive Time Splash", touring internationally and creating a series of mixes (compilations of other artists work played in a continuous fashion). He was able to win his first award at the 2nd Annual Belize Music Awards Show on the 28th of January 2012 where he has been recognized as the DJ of the Year of 2012 - 2013.

Omar “SMARTKID” Currie is a seasoned music industry professional and managing director of Smartkid Records Limited which he founded in 2007 and updated to a limited company in 2023. With a passion for nurturing talent, 

SMARTKID has built a state-of-the-art recording studio in Portmore, Jamaica, offering top-notch audio editing, mixing, and vocal recording services.

Starting as a singer, SMARTKID transitioned to promoting parties and eventually found his calling as a producer, recording engineer, and artiste manager. He has worked with renowned and talented young artists like Runkus, Tarrus Riley, Kabaka Pyramid, Lutan Fyah, Kymani Marley, Sizzla, Beenie Man, and Merciless, to name a few.

He has released several albums (Life Rhythm, Set It Off Riddim, Success of Discipline).

Currently he is commissioned to work on the label’s upcoming PROSPERITY album, featuring inspiring tracks by Tarrus Riley, Sizzla, and more.

His production skills have earned him a Grammy nomination for his work on Jesse Royal's "Royal" album, (track entitled “Like Dat”).

He has also been involved in shooting several music videos, including Runkus' "Make it Breathe" ft. Tarrus Riley.
